一群少年闯入人迹罕至的偏远古寺，意外翻出一副尘封多年的老旧棋盘游戏。随着骰子被掷下，封印在棋盘中的复仇怨灵被彻底唤醒，原本的玩乐彻底变成致命陷阱。棋盘的每一步都对应着现实中的死亡规则，少年们接连陷入险境，为了活下去，他们必须在怨灵的追杀里，解开古寺与棋盘背后的诅咒真相，找到终止这场死亡游戏的方法。
